1.	Will TekCharge MP1550 work with my device?
	TekCharge MP1550 works with hundreds of personal electronic devices. For a list of compatible devices, go to: TekCharge MP1550 Compatibility

If my device is not listed on the compatibility list, will it work with TekCharge MP1550?

TekCharge MP1550 works with most devices that require 5V. The compatibility obstacle for TekCharge MP1550 is the physical connection to the power jack. Device manufacturers all use varying types of jacks, so an adapter must be used to connect the TekCharge MP1550 cable to the device, or you can use your USB device cable in place of the adapter.

The adapters that fit a majority of the jack types are included with TekCharge MP1550. However, if you cannot find your specific model in the compatibility list, but see similar models, it is likely that TekCharge MP1550 will work with your device. You can assume that the model has not been included in the compatibility list, as we have not yet identified the adapter type on that specific device.

Tekkeon makes every effort to identify the adapter plug requirements of new devices. However, due to the large number of devices available, we are not able to identify the adapter requirements for every device.

3.	How do I know which adapter to use with my device?
	The size of each adapter plug varies to match the device. To determine which adapter to use, connect each of the included adapters to your device. The correct adapter will fit securely.

4.	Will the same adapter work for all my devices?
	The type of adapter required depends on the device. Several of the most common adapters are included with TekCharge MP1550. If your other devices require different adapters, you simply remove one adapter and replace it with the second adapter. Most adapters not included with TekCharge MP1550 can be purchased through the Tekkeon online store.

5.	Can I obtain adapters that are not included with the TekCharge MP1550?
	Yes. For a nominal fee, you can purchase additional adapters from the Tekkeon online store.

6.	Can I obtain a replacement adapter if I lose one?
	Yes. For a nominal fee, you can purchase replacement adapters from the Tekkeon online store.

Using TekCharge MP1550

How does TekCharge MP1550 work?

TekCharge MP1550 uses two or four rechargeable or alkaline AA batteries. With the batteries installed, TekCharge MP1550 is connected to a mobile phone or other personal electronic device through its power jack. While TekCharge MP1550 is connected, it powers and charges the device battery, so the device can be used while its battery is being charged. TekCharge MP1550 discharges power from the batteries as it powers and charges a device, so the batteries eventually must be recharged or replaced.

8.	What do I need to use TekCharge MP1550?
	You need your device that is to be charged, TekCharge MP1550 with two or four AA batteries, and the appropriate power adapter and retractable USB cable or USB device cable.

What's included with TekCharge MP1550?

TekCharge MP1550 comes with:

10.	Is TekCharge MP1550 easy to set up?
	Yes. You simply install the batteries and connect the retractable USB cable to between TekCharge MP1550 and the device.

11.	Do I have to remove the batteries from my device to charge the device batteries?
	No, you do not remove the batteries from the device. TekCharge MP1550 simply connects to the external power jack on your device..

12.	Do all portable devices have a power jack?
	No, not all portable electronic devices include a power jack. TekCharge MP1550 can only be used with devices that include a power jack.

13.	What type of batteries does TekCharge MP1550 require?
	To use TekCharge MP1550, you must insert two or four rechargeable or alkaline batteries.

14.	Will TekCharge MP1550 charge rechargeable AA batteries?
	Yes, TekCharge MP1550 will charge two or four rechargeable AA batteries in three or six hours (respectively), when connected to a high-powered USB port.

15.	How long can I use TekCharge MP1550 with my device before replacing the batteries?
	The length of time TekCharge MP1550 can be used to power and/or charge your device depends on the device it is charging. Following is the approximate time that TekCharge MP1550 will power each device:

	No. TekCharge MP1550 regulates the output voltage so it will not overpower your device.

17.	Will TekCharge MP1550 overcharge my rechargeable batteries?
	No. TekCharge MP1550 includes charging circuitry that will ensure it does not overcharge your rechargeable batteries.

18.	If both my device and TekCharge MP1550 rechargeable batteries are out of power, can I charge them both together?
	Yes, you can charge both the installed rechargeable batteries and your device by connecting TekCharge MP1550 to a power outlet or computer USB port while connected to your device.
