iPod 5G (video), iPod 4G (color display), iPod 4G (click
wheel) iPod 3G, and iPod mini. Sizing pads are included
or available for no additional cost from the Tekkeon
Store at www.tekkeon.com. |

What do I need to use myPower for iPod? |

You need an iPod, FireWire or USB 2.0 cable, appropriate
sizing pads, and either a FireWire port on your PC or
a FireWire power adapter. The cables and sizing pads
and FireWire power adapter are provided. |

Do I have to charge myPower for iPod before
I use it? |
| |
Yes. Like any new rechargeable battery, myPower for
iPod must be charged before it is used. |

How do I charge myPower for iPod? |
| |
You have two options for charging myPower for iPod.
You can charge the device via a FireWire port on your
PC, or by connecting to a FireWire power adapter. MP1140
includes a FireWire power adapter for use with iPods
that did not include this adapter. |

How many hours of playback will myPower
for iPod provide before needing to be recharged? |

The playback time will vary depending on the iPod model,
and the type of playback (music, slideshow or video).

Can I download or manage music when iPod
is connected to myPower for iPod? |
| |
Yes. You can download and manage music using the included
USB 2.0 cable to connect directly from myPower for iPod
to your computer. (With iPod 3rd and 4th generation,
iPod mini, and iPod photo, you also can download and
manage music using the included FireWire cable.) |

Can I carry iPod in myPower for iPod without
powering iPod? |

Yes. myPower for iPod is equipped with an on/off switch
that enables you to control myPower for iPod’s powering
function. |

How do I charge my mobile phone or other
device? |

You will need an optional charging cable and adapter
plug to connect your mobile phone or other device (up
to 5V) to myPower for iPod. These are available at the
Tekkeon Store at www.tekkeon.com. |

How does myPower for iPod work? |
| |
myPower for iPod is an external lithium polymer battery
that powers any compatible iPod. After myPower for iPod
is charged, it powers the connected iPod. As myPower
for iPod discharges power as it powers iPod, it eventually
must be recharged.
myPower for iPod also offers FireWire and USB 2.0 ports
to allow syncing of the iPod for downloading and managing
music. |
