Compatibility

Will ezSpeak™ work
with my mobile phone? |

ezSpeak works with
all mobile phones that incorporate Bluetooth® v1.1
or v1.2 technology. The features available on ezSpeak
will depend on the features supported by the mobile phone.

ezSpeak Compatibility. |

If my mobile phone is not
listed on the compatibility list, will it work with ezSpeak? |

If your mobile phone incorporates Bluetooth v1.1 or
v1.2 technology, it will work with ezSpeak even if it
is not included on our compatibility list. This is due
to an occasional delay that may occur in updating our
compatibility list as new mobile phones are introduced
to market. Please note that the features available on
ezSpeak will depend on the features supported by the
mobile phone. |

Can I use ezSpeak
with more than one mobile phone? |

You can use ezSpeak with up to seven mobile phones, as
long as each phone incorporates Bluetooth v1.1 or v1.2
technology. Each phone to be used must be paired with the
speakerphone. However, once a phone is paired with the
speakerphone, you do not need to repeat the pairing process
for that phone. ezSpeak will communicate only with one
mobile phone at a time. |

Does ezSpeak require professional
installation? |

No, ezSpeak simply clips to your car visor. It contains
a rechargeable battery, so it doesn’t require a dedicated
electrical connection. |

Must I charge ezSpeak
before I use it the first time? |

Yes. |

How long does it take to
charge ezSpeak? |
| |
ezSpeak must be charged for at least two hours before
being used the first time. ezSpeak will be fully charged
when the battery icon indicates full. |

How long can I use ezSpeak
with my device before charging it? |
| |
ezSpeak is equipped with a rechargeable lithium polymer
battery that provides up to ten hours of talk time, and
up to 220 hours of standby time. When ezSpeak is used with
a mobile phone that supports an HV3 connection, the talk
time will be even longer. |

Will I receive an indication
when my battery is low? |

The battery level is shown on the display when the battery
is at less than 5% of capacity. |

Does Tekkeon provide a
car charger for ezSpeak? |
| |
Yes, a 12V car charger is provided with ezSpeak. This
devices uses the same power jack and voltage as Nokia mobile
phones, so a Nokia phone charger can be used to charge
ezSpeak from a wall outlet. |

Is ezSpeak easy
to set up? |

Yes. ezSpeak must be paired with a Bluetooth
mobile phone in order to establish the communication between
the two devices. (Pairing is the process of linking the
speakerphone with your Bluetooth mobile phone.) This process
is simple as pairing is an activity provided on your Bluetooth
mobile phone menu. After this process is complete, you
can use the speakerphone with its paired mobile phone. |

What do I need to use
ezSpeak? |

You need your Bluetooth mobile phone, ezSpeak, and
the power adapter. Everything but the phone is included
with ezSpeak. |

How do I make a call
using ezSpeak? |

You can make calls from your mobile phone,
or directly from ezSpeak using advanced calling features
like stored number redial, last number redial, and voice
dialing commands (if these features are supported by
your mobile phone). You will hear the call ringing and
the connected party through the speaker on ezSpeak. |

to make a call with ezSpeak? |

You can make calls directly from ezSpeak using voice
dialing commands (if this feature is supported by your
mobile phone). You will hear the call ringing and the
connected party through the speaker on ezSpeak. |

store received numbers? |

Yes, ezSpeak stores the last nine received numbers
in a call list. You can browse and dial directly from
this stored number call list. |

display the incoming caller ID? |

Yes, ezSpeak displays the calling number if this feature
is supported by your phone. When used with some
phones,
ezSpeak will display the name of the calling party. |

How do I receive a call

When you receive a call on your mobile phone, you will
hear the mobile phone ring followed by ring tone heard
on ezSpeak. |

Yes, you can reject an incoming call from ezSpeak using
a button located on the front of the loudspeaker. |

a call waiting call, and toggle between both calls. |

mobile phone. This is the distance established by the
Bluetooth wireless technology standard. That means while
using ezSpeak, you can carry your mobile phone in your
