Compatibility

Will ezTalker mini ™ work with my mobile
phone? |

ezTalker mini works with all mobile phones that incorporate
Bluetooth® v1.1 or v1.2 technology.
For a complete list of compatible mobile phones, go to
ezTalker mini Compatibility. |

If my mobile phone is not listed on the
compatibility list, will it work with ezTalker mini? |
| |
If your mobile phone incorporates Bluetooth v1.1
or v1.2 technology, it will work with ezTalker mini even
if it is not included on our compatibility list. This
is due to an occasional delay that may occur in updating
our compatibility list as new mobile phones are introduced
to market. |

Can I use ezTalker mini with more than one mobile
phone? |

You can use ezTalker mini with more than one mobile phone,
as long as each phone incorporates Bluetooth v1.1 or v1.2
technology. Each time you change the phone to be used,
you must pair ezTalker mini with the new phone. ezTalker mini will
work only with one mobile phone at a time. |

Must I charge ezTalker mini before I use it the
first time? |

Yes. |

How long does it take to charge ezTalker mini? |
| |
ezTalker mini must be charged for at least two hours before
being used the first time. After the first charge, ezTalker mini
will be fully charged after the amber LED turns off. (A
full charge from the low battery indication takes about
two hours.) |

Why doesn’t the amber LED turn on
when I connect the power adapter? |
| |
If this amber LED is off, the battery has at least 80%
capacity left. You can charge ezTalker mini even though the
amber LED is off, as the built-in protection circuitry
will not overcharge the battery even if you leave the
power adapter connected longer than needed. |

How long can I use ezTalker mini with my device
before charging it? |

ezTalker mini is equipped with a rechargeable lithium
polymer battery that provides up to five hours of talk
time and up to 120 hours of standby time. When ezTalker
mini is used with a mobile phone that supports an HV3
connection, the talk time will be even longer. |

Will I receive an indication when my battery
is low? |

ezTalker mini provides both an audible and visual indicator
when the battery is at less than 5% of capacity. (That
means that about ten minutes of talk time remains after
the first low battery indication.) |

Does Tekkeon provide a car charger for ezTalker
mini? |
| |
A standard Nokia mobile phone charger can be used to
charge ezTalker mini, as the headset has the same power
jack and voltage as Nokia mobile phones. Tekkeon does
not offer a custom car charger as Nokia car chargers are
available at most electronic stores. |

Is ezTalker mini easy to set up? |

Yes. ezTalker mini must be paired with a Bluetooth
mobile phone in order to establish the communication between
the two devices. (Pairing is the process of linking the
headset with your Bluetooth mobile phone.) This process
is simple as pairing is an activity provided on your Bluetooth
mobile phone menu. After this process is complete, you
can use the headset with its paired mobile phone. |

What do I need to use ezTalker mini? |

You need your Bluetooth mobile phone, ezTalker mini, and
the power adapter. Everything but the phone is included
with ezTalker mini. |

How do I make a call using ezTalker mini? |

You can make calls from your mobile phone,
or directly from ezTalker mini using voice dialing commands
(if this feature is supported by your mobile phone). You
will hear the call ringing and the connected party through
the speaker on the ezTalker mini headset. |

You can make calls directly from ezTalker mini using voice
dialing commands (if this feature is supported by your
mobile phone). You will hear the call ringing and the
connected party through the speaker on the ezTalker mini headset. |

How do I receive a call using ezTalker mini? |

When you receive a call on your mobile phone, you will
hear the mobile phone ring followed by ring tone heard
through your headset. To answer the call on the headset,
you press the TALK button and the call will be connected. |

Can I end a call from ezTalker mini? |
| |
Yes, you can end a call directly from the headset. To
end the call, press the TALK button located on the front
of the headset. |

Can I receive a call when I'm on the phone? |

Yes, you can take a second call while you're on the
phone if your mobile phone supports the call waiting feature.
With both calls connected, you can toggle between the
calls. |

Yes. With the call connected to your mobile phone, simply
press the TALK button on your headset. |

press the Volume + button on your headset. |

How do I control the headset volume? |

Simply press the ezTalker mini volume buttons to increase
or decrease the speaker volume. For quick, easy access,
these buttons are located on the side of ezTalker mini. |

Yes, simply press and hold the ezTalker mini volume buttons
to mute/unmute the microphone. For quick, easy access,
these buttons are located on the side of ezTalker mini. |

How can I make ezTalker mini fit more comfortably
in my ear? |
| |
ezTalker mini is designed to fit comfortably in most ears.
If you find that the ezTalker mini speaker stem is too
large for your ear, you can change the ezFit earpiece.
If you find that the ezTalker mini speaker stem is too small
for your ear, you can add an ezFit Ring. For added stability,
add the ezEarhook to wear the headset on either ear. |

Yes, ezTalker mini can be worn on either ear. If you are
using the ezEarhook, you simply change the direction of
ezEarhook, depending on which ear you will wear the headset. |

Yes. Because you wear ezTalker mini in front of your ear
rather than behind the ear, it does not interfere with
glasses. |
